Jared Byer – a.k.a “La Fiesta”

Jared aka “La Fiesta,” earned his nickname back in college, because he always brought the party wherever he went.  Since those days he’s traveled to 39 countries around the world, and has lived it up in each one! His adventures all documented on his Globe Stompers blog.

Jared dabbled in the fashion industry in New York before taking a leave of absence to travel for an extended period of time.  It was during this last trip that he stumbled upon the famous full moon parties in Thailand, and thought, why can’t we do something similar, but yet different, back home.

Jared is originally from Toronto, Canada, but has called New York City his home since 2002.

His main focus with Moonlight Nights is to make each event bigger, better, and different from the last one, making sure people look forward to every full moon.

Mahdad Taheri – a.k.a. “MacDaddy”

Mahdad is a serial entrepreneur who often says “yes” to anything that seems fun to do and challenges both sides of his brain.  Since he founded TVI Designs in 2002 to support the hospitality industry with branding and design, Mahdad has designed dozens of websites for bars, clubs and lounges in New York City and beyond. Mahdad is also the Founder of The Noo Group, a young company that he nurtures like a single parent trying to raise a child who wants everything.

Mahdad’s hometown is Toronto, Canada but he was born in London, England (used to have a full British accent, sorry ladies) and is Persian (not the kind from the movie 300). He is cultural melting pot himself who speaks English, Farsi, Spanish and French, and has been friends with Jared since university days at McGill in Montreal.

Mahdad dreams that Noo and Moonlight Nights create fun and creative social experiences with a good cause that people all over the world want to attend. He also dreams of throwing a full moon party on the moon itself. After all, his name’s meaning is “given by the moon,” so he must return home at some point

Kamaneh Akhlagh – a.k.a. “Killer K”

The third member of the team, Kamaneh is someone you can’t help but want to be friends with. Her lunar energy will light up the room on any night, captivate you and leave you always wanting more of her. Having moved to NYC in 2007 after 6 years in Dubai to pursue her love of art and music , Kamaneh currently is a graphic designer amongst other things. From her hometown of Tehran, Iran, Kamaneh’s scarf is nowhere to be seen unless she’s wrapping it around you as she seduces you with her sweet Middle Eastern eyes and smile. But don’t be fooled boys and girls. She is no innocent one – she’s a killer who gets crazy under the full moons.
